COUPLES COACHING + RELATIONSHIP DESIGN
My husband and I met my Freshman year of college. I’m now 42. That’s a lot of years together and most of them we truly didn’t know just how not-self we were. Frustration, bitterness, those words rang true in our marriage more than I care to admit, and a few times, they almost drove us to a point of no return. Even with my professional training as a therapist, my years of practice with individuals and couples, it wasn’t until I was able to face my own shadows, my truth and discover what was getting in the way of living my truth that I really started to live. I had no idea how much time I’d wasted in a space of not truly being myself.
Living, and living your truest, most authentic self are two different things. When it comes to a marriage, so often the experience I had is the experience many women and men face as well. Waking up, growing and changing and doing awesome things on the inside, only to show up to the marriage half-baked and afraid to be your true self.
What keeps us quiet in our relationships? Why do we allow our self-doubt, shadows and gremlins to show up and take over? What is it that we’re afraid or uncertain of? The answer is truth and belonging to the deepest, most vulnerable degree.
As a couples coach and relationship designer we’re going to get to the heart of your relationship and design the one that’s the truest reflection of you both. The one that honors each of you as individual, awoke women and men and the one that’s an honest reflection of the love, care and deep connection you have for and with yourselves and one another. You’ll learn things you never knew about yourselves and one another, you’ll hold space for your partner’s fears and doubts, and you’ll learn how to grow together with it all.
We’re going to take your marriage and redefine it into a partnership instead.
